Gil Livnah has been working with technology and industrial companies, founders and investors since 1988. Gil has executed merger and acquisition transactions totaling more than $7.5 billion in consideration and private placements and public offerings totaling in excess of $9 billion in raised capital.
Gil brings a broad perspective to his clients that encompasses legal and business aspects of complex transactions and corporate representation. Gil’s legal experience includes working in the corporate group of Morrison & Foerster in Palo Alto where his focus included M&A transactions, public offerings and venture financings. His investment banking experience began at Lehman Brothers in New York and continued with Citigroup and Jefferies Broadview in California, executing M&A transactions, public offerings and specialized restructuring transactions.
Gil also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel of a venture-backed wireless software and device company, where he led all of the company's strategic, financing and intellectual property transactions globally.
Gil serves on the Board of Directors of the California-Israel Chamber of Commerce where he moderates the Chamber’s Annual Technology M&A and Israel event. Recent panelists have included senior M&A executives from Google, Microsoft, Cisco, HP, EMC, Broadcom, Adobe and Oracle.
Gil holds a Bachelor of Science degree from U.C. Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. He was born in Haifa, Israel, is fluent in Hebrew and is a classical piano and tuba player.
